Our process
From idea to something your team actually uses.
Four steps, no black box. Here's what actually happens at each one, and roughly how long it tends to take.
Discover
Before any design or code, we get specific about the actual problem: who uses this, what's broken or missing today, and what "done" really looks like. A vague request turns into a clear, written scope both sides agree on.
- A working session to walk through goals, constraints, and what's already in place
- A written scope covering what's included, what isn't, and how we'll know it's working
- Access to whatever we need to see the real picture: existing tools, data, or code
Typically a few business days, depending on how much there is to untangle.
Design and build
Design and engineering work side by side from day one instead of a handoff. What gets designed is already known to be buildable the way it looks, and what gets built matches what was designed.
- Working versions you can click through and react to, not just static mockups
- Regular check-ins so direction gets corrected early, not after weeks of work
- Real engineering from the start, so nothing gets thrown away and rebuilt later
The bulk of the timeline. Length depends entirely on scope.
Launch
We ship as soon as something is genuinely ready, not on an arbitrary date. Launches are staged and reversible wherever possible, so going live is a non-event instead of a gamble.
- A pre-launch check covering performance, accessibility, and edge cases
- A rollout plan that limits the blast radius if something needs to be rolled back
- Direct support during and immediately after launch
Usually a few focused days once the build is ready.
Improve
Shipping isn't the finish line. We keep watching what's actually happening after launch, what's used, what's ignored, what breaks, and use that to decide what's worth doing next.
- A short post-launch review of real usage and anything that came up
- A prioritized list of what to improve or build next, based on evidence, not guesses
- Ongoing support if you want us to keep going, or a clean handoff if you don't
Ongoing, on whatever cadence makes sense for you.
